Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Resumeabl platform at resumeabl.com (the “Service”), operated by Resumeabl (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.


1. Service Description

Resumeabl is an AI-powered career discovery platform. When you upload your CV, six specialized AI agents analyze it in parallel, identifying structural problems that generic resume tools cannot detect: identity gaps, bullet visibility issues, scope understatement, mechanical errors, defensibility weaknesses, and hidden roles concealed by job titles.

You then participate in a guided conversation where your answers fill in the specifics only you know. The result is an improved CV grounded in your real experience, not generated text.

1.1 AI Disclosure

In accordance with the EU AI Act (Article 50), we disclose that you are interacting with AI-powered systems when using Resumeabl. The analysis, conversation questions, and CV rewrites are generated by large language models (currently Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude). No human reviews your data unless you explicitly request support.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Resumeabl, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Account

  • You sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
  • You may not share your account or let others access the Service through your credentials.
  • You may delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently deletes all associated data within 30 days.

4. Subscription and Billing

4.1 Plans

Resumeabl offers paid subscription plans. Current pricing, features, and billing cycles are displayed on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

4.2 Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method on file at the start of each billing cycle. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings or through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until the period ends. No prorated refunds are issued for partial periods.

4.4 Refunds

If you are unsatisfied with the Service within the first 7 days of your initial subscription, you may request a full refund by contacting [email protected]. After 7 days, no refunds are issued.

4.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ notice via email. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period.

5. Your Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you upload, including your original CV text and your conversation answers. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and store it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5.2 AI-Generated Output

The improved CV, analysis results, and profile data generated by the Service are provided to you for your personal and professional use. You may use them in job applications, share them with recruiters, or publish them as you see fit.

Important: Under current U.S. Copyright Office guidance, content generated entirely by AI without meaningful human authorship may not be eligible for copyright registration. Because the improved CV is a collaboration between your original input, your conversation answers, and AI processing, the copyright status of specific elements may vary. We make no representations about the copyrightability of AI-generated output.

5.3 Non-Exclusivity

AI models may generate similar or identical phrasing for different users with similar experience profiles. We do not guarantee that any specific wording in your improved CV is unique to you.

5.4 No Training

We do not use your CV content or conversation answers to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model. Your data is processed via API calls that are contractually excluded from model training by our providers.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is fraudulent, misleading, or infringes on third-party rights.
  • Use the Service to generate CVs for someone else without their consent.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the AI models, prompts, or proprietary methodology.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the Service.
  • Interfere with the Service’s infrastructure or security.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its output commercially.

7. Disclaimers

7.1 No Employment Guarantee

Resumeabl does not guarantee that using the Service will result in job interviews, callbacks, offers, or employment. The Service provides tools and analysis to help you present your experience more effectively. Hiring decisions are made by employers and are outside our control.

7.2 AI Accuracy

AI-generated analysis and suggestions may contain errors, inaccuracies, or recommendations that do not apply to your specific situation. You are responsible for reviewing all output before using it. Statistics, case studies, and examples presented on the website illustrate typical results but are not guarantees.

7.3 As-Is

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HIRABL’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Resumeabl, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

  • By you. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
  • By us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. In cases of suspected fraud or abuse, we may terminate immediately.
  • Effect. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Sections 5 (Your Content), 7 (Disclaimers), 8 (Limitation of Liability), 9 (Indemnification), and 12 (Governing Law) survive termination.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree, you may delete your account before the changes take effect.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation for 30 days. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English. The arbitrator’s decision is final and binding.

Class action waiver. You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement or unauthorized access.

13. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Resumeabl.
  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
  • Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
